The Laws of Energy Healing

Energy healing has been practiced for thousands of years in various forms, from traditional Chinese medicine to Reiki to Pranic Healing and to more modern energy healing modalities such as Be Well Science.

While many people are familiar with the physical aspects of healing—medication, nutrition, and rest—there’s more that impacts the rate and effectiveness of healing: energy. Below are some key laws of energy healing:

  1. The Human Body Needs More Than Food: While food is essential for physical health, the body also needs sun, air, and ground prana—the subtle energies from nature. This is why living on canned foods or overly processed meals for an extended period can deplete your health. These types of food lack the vital prana that fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains naturally contain. Regular exposure to sunlight, fresh air, and the earth (through grounding exercises or walks in nature) are vital for restoring energy levels.
  2. Healing in a Clean, Energized Space: Energy healing works best in an environment that’s clean, filled with sunlight, and fresh air. The quality of the space can greatly influence the effectiveness of healing, as the body and its energy centres (or chakras) absorb vitality (prana) from the surroundings.
  3. Recovery vs. Deterioration: Healing happens when the rate of recovery is higher than the rate of deterioration. Energy healing techniques help boost the recovery rate by enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal and reducing the speed of deterioration. This is why energy healing is important when recovery seems slow—it tips the balance in your favour.
  4. Disease Starts in the Energy Body: Before any illness manifests in the physical body, it first appears in the energy bodies—in the different levels of auras and chakras that surround and permeate our physical being. This means that diseases can be detected early in the energy body before physical symptoms appear. Energy healing works to cleanse and repair these fields, often prevents the diseases from physicalising.
  5. Physical Damage Affects the Energy Body: Just as diseases begin in the energy body, any physical injury or damage to the body causes an energy leak from the auras. When someone experiences physical trauma, such as a cut or a broken bone, energy “leaks” from the affected areas, slowing down recovery. Energy healing helps by plugging these leaks and boosting energy flow to the injury, speeding up the healing process drastically.
  6. Karmic Equity Affects Healing: The karmic equity of a person, whether from this life or previous ones, can affect healing and recovery. Sometimes healing may not work if the person being healed does not have enough good karmic equity. Having more karmic debts or negative karma may also be weighing down the person’s energy system and overall health. This is why money earned through illicit means causes illness in the family. Newer modalities of energy healing can heal karmic debt too, up to an extent.
  7. Paying ahead of time for healing sessions or donating to a good cause ensures the person being healed has the karmic equity. Receiving healing and paying late tends to slow down the process and affects complete recovery.

Energy healing taps into etheric, emotional, mental and higher levels of our being, addressing both the body and the energy fields that surround it. By understanding and applying these laws of energy healing, we can accelerate recovery, prevent illnesses from manifesting, and create a more harmonious, balanced life.
