Getting lost in a daily schedule of checking off tasks is easy in today’s fast-paced world.
That’s why I’ve made it a priority to carve out some daily “Pure Thinking Time” which is an essential practice for being aware of one’s next steps.
“𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲” is meditating on a seed thought and just “𝗕𝗲”.
When I started basic meditation or prolonged awareness, some years ago, my head would always be swimming with thoughts and emotions and it was difficult for me to stay calm and focused. But with practice and energetic healing and cleansing, it got a lot easier, faster!
➤ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 “𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲” 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
It’s simple. Each evening, I dedicate an hour or more to this practice, starting with a simple exercises and breathing technique to clear my mind, align to my highest best and create space for introspection. After this, I focus on:
➙ Auditing my day ➙ Reflecting on my actions ➙ Analysing the root causes of any pain points.
➙ On another day, I plant a “seed thought” about what could be my next best steps for my family, career, health, social or spiritual journey, to invite creative ideas.
➙ The highest intuitive ideas are supposed to happen as a flash that feels “right” on many levels that’s part of a bigger idea. This is the ultimate goal of “𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲” – to connect with something greater and allow it to guide one’s next steps.
On days with less time, I just align and be… and think about what I could post next on LinkedIn!
Do you have a similar creative practice? How do you find clarity and purpose in your day?
